![]() | Tradition for excellent craftsmanshipIn 1889 Balticsofa (earlier Azuolas) started its first production in Vilnius. Actually it started as a sawmill, but during the following 118 years production has included everything from dining room furniture, bookshelves, cupboards, to sideboards etc. until the production of armchairs and upholster furniture was started about 25 years ago.
One of the main philosophies behind Balticsofa has always been a large own production, as it was an honour for the company to refine the products all the way from the drying process to the finished piece of furniture.
A historic long tradition for craftsmanship in Lithuania made this possible.
The development of Balticsofa until the production of upholster furniture was natural, as the Lithuanians have many years’ of experience in sewing – especially within the garment field.
